Veronika Harris    FCIPD . FRSA, Msc HRD, CERT ED

Head of Training and Development at the V&A

Fellow of the Charted Institute of Personnel and Development  and Royal Society of Arts, with 25 years experience in training and development and organisational consultancy. Veronika has developed extensive programmes for a range of organisations in the public and private sector, working in Local Government as Training Manager and Head of HR, supporting the  changes in modernising Government through merging services , implementing Best value and Diversity.
Veronika  joined the V&A in April 2000 and has successfully gained the Investors in People Award for the whole organisation and built major partnerships with other National Museums for management & leadership programmes . In 2005 the V&A was given status as a Cultural Heritage Assessment centre  to register and assess museum staff for NVQ  qualifications. This has been a major project in developing new awards for the sector at the V&A supporting the UK strategy.  Veronika  is on the  V&A Diversity Strategy Group and  has also served  on the Mayors Commission taskforce for workforce Diversityand as a programme committee member and key speaker at the American Museums Association annual conference 2002-6,  Smithsonian Training Council and ICOM Vienna 2007,chair Museums Association Conference Nov 2008, Professional panel member Abu Dhabi Cultural Heritage project, Jan 2009 ,speaker Clore Leadership programme April 2009, Panel member Museums Association Conference Oct 2009.
